Before saying, “the libertarians were right about this, but…”* consider whether a more accurate statement would be, “the anarchists were right about this, and…”
Like, if you think libertarianism has some good points about the state, but hate the property/market bit, then have I got a political philosophy for you.

I’m not even a card-carrying anarchist, but when you make that argument, you do seem to have skipped over an entire political philosophy that focuses entirely on the issues you are concerned about.
