#rustconf program is now live — so many exciting #rustlang talks!
I'll share what I've been working on in the past months at the @rustfoundation
#rustconf25 registration and workshop announcements coming soon. I hope to see you there in Seattle or online on Sept 3
Find my talk on the program at https://rustconf.com/schedule/#1471
Like recently mentioned, I am exploring ways to mimic the content distribution system used to ship #worldofwarcraft
After showing some pictures, here is the first round of #rustlang code that allow us to at least study the CDN API.

More to come. Hopefully, I will be able to get this to the point where I can mimic both CDN and API, and potentially the battle.net client too.
We firmly believe, archival is the key to letting games survive even if they are abandoned by their makers at some point.
And thus we began a project that ultimately will mimic the content distribution mechanisms Blizzard Entertainment e.g. uses to ship all World of Warcraft versions to gamer.
https://github.com/wowemulation-dev/cascette-rs has the first work completed.
THANK YOU to Microsoft, JetBrains & Arm for being the 1st orgs to come aboard as #rustconf25 sponsors! We are routinely impressed by the commitment of these orgs to supporting+growing the #rustlang ecosystem.
