My i3 noop tips
As a noob to the i3 window manager I recently discovered three tips that I find useful :
– the bindings to move a tiling window around (by default Shift+mod+arrows) also work to move the position of a floating window
– you can have a binding to focus the latest floating (resp. tiling) window with `focus floating` (resp. `tiling`). I use it a lot when e.g. some popup prompts me for a password. I open another window to use my password manager and then use this binding to go back to the popup and copy the password. It's also useful to deal with Thunderbird annoying “loading” popups.
