THE WAY TO BE SURE @pureevil

Oh great! Intero doesn't work under , and the author seems a little hostile towards nix users for some reason.

@pureevil I might reconsider my (hypothetical) plan to switch from Nixos to Arch then ):
I saw there is a fork of Intero, but I cannot remember its name

@lthms I probably should correct myself in that this isn't intero itself but the emacs plugin that doesn't work properly. But I suppose this doesn't matter since it's the perceived hostility that I find troubling, not the software bug.

@pureevil I understand.

For the record, I’ve found the project I was talking about: it is dante.

@lthms not sure it would work for me. I have quite a few stack projects with multiple cabal projects in each, so stack support is imperative.

@pureevil @lthms [Politics ahead] Commercialhaskell+FP Complete¹ pushes for Stack. Chris Done worked² on a number of projects at FP Complete.
Nix (or cabal-install) is a _competition_.

[Joking] Connect the dots.
THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.

This is why²³ Dante exists and this is why some of us (Haskell folks) avoid “Stuck” 😹

@kmicu @lthms I'm actually surprised that a rather small community like the one around Haskell still has enough space for political disputes. It damages everyone involved.
