@mdallastella /etc/crontab is where sysadmins store notes for themselves, when to do what. This file has a standardized format, so the said sysadmins could unequivocally read the notes of each other. And there is also a daemon, called similarly, which, contrary to popular misconception, does what it wants and when it wants it, executing the commands from the said file if only by accident.
