Also, VSCode not following PEP8 rules automatically (as Vim/NeoVim does) is annoying as fuck.

I've been using Copilot for our projects, mostly to complete single lines.

It's weird how close to what I need and how completely wrong it gets most of the time.

I've seen it autocomplete a variable name (constant) pretty close to what I needed, but it was wrong in a subtle way that didn't produce an exception, but didn't do what I expected either.

... and here I am, wondering if Guild Wars 2 would run on Steamdeck...

haha, Valve has put on Steam Deck to represent Linux... love it 😄

This was a real scummy thing for Nintendo to do (even though they have done worse in the past). Nintendo Switch users need to read this.

KDE Plasma powers the desktop of the Valve #SteamDeck.

Congrats Valve for releasing #SteamDeck! Thank you for choosing Plasma!

I can already see:

A stranger stops in front of you. They pick their backpack and open it. They take the Steamdeck out of it and shove it in your face.

Curious detail from the Steamdeck:

Operating System: SteamOS 3.0 (Arch-based)
Desktop: KDE Plasma

It is so great when you start mixing Django filters and things show up exactly like they should.

A Silicon Valley VC-funded startup succeeds or fails based on how fast it can grow. At the start, it needs YOU to grow. It will put its best face forward and promise to be nice. Once it has grown enough and it no longer needs you (see: network effects), you have little to no power to affect its behaviour. That’s when you get screwed. Maybe not all at once (see: slowly-boiling frogs) but eventually, sure enough.

So exercise your power when you have it. At the start. By looking the other way.

Talvez quando acabar a CPI. Porque daí ele pára de ficar com o cú apertado.

My biggest issue so far with Copilot is that I have to use VSCode.

Considering buying the whole shebang for RustConf this year again.

(Why "considering"? 'Cause the fucking exchange rate, that's why.)

Mais uma mentira do Jair:

Disse que tava cagando pra CPI, mas tava cagando nada.

Finally, fixed the problem with Dropbox sending an email every month telling me that I'm almost out of space:

I deleted my Dropbox account.

(Not complaining, though. We finally managed to get out of some sticky situation and we have some air to breath now...)
