I'll probably get some of flack for it, but...

I saw that there is a Humble Bundle for Elixir. Although I find the general concepts of the language (plus the BEAM runtime), I don't consider Elixir a good pick for anything at this point.

Maybe it's because I already saw (and played) a bit with the language, and 'cause I really dislike the Ruby syntax (which Elixir borrows a lot).

For my forays into BEAM, I found Erlang easier to read and understand than Elixir.

On the other hand, I can clearly see that the Elixir Ecosystem is way more alive than Erlang's.

@juliobiason It’s my understanding they are fairly compatible with each other, so writing Erlang doesn’t lock out Elixir usage.
