I don't want my smart watch to tell day time. Tell me « 45 minutes until next important moment » instead.
This mode of operation is, suprisingly, supported pretty bad.

@amiloradovsky Yeah, the events from the agenda are showing up, but the « workflow » just isn't there.
You get this big The Time Is Now part and a tiny stripe of an announcement if you don't forget to register your stuff.

Smart watches can only deliver signals. While the responsibility of issuing the signals is entirely on the software, which isn't specific to any gadgets.
OTOH, e.g. Google #Calendar allows to set (manually) how long before the start of each event you want to be reminded about it.
Either way, it is still the user's job to take care of all the events being entered and the reminders' time properly tuned.
Also, I'd like to spend some time on improving the organizers, someday…
