A person's life is not just his or her property, since many other persons (at least collectively) also invested substantial amount of their time in him or her.
So any human, maybe older than a toddler, has as an assets as a liabilities, speaking in the accounting terms. And is thus obliged to fulfill some/many (social and otherwise) contracts. — Freedom is not the kind of thing some people think it is…
