[Joking] I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as
#Debuix, is in fact, GNU Guix/Debian, or as I've recently taken to calling it,
GNU Guix on Debian. Debian is not an immutable operating system unto itself, but rather another distro with an in-place mutable package manager which can brick your system on any update.

Yes, but #Guix SD wasn't a viable option, for several reasons. In short, this isn't "production ready" yet, for my applications, at least. So I opted for "#Debuix" — still better than the plain #Debian, I suppose..
